JCDecaux Adds Second Large Format Digital Signage Screen at Victoria Station

SEEN & NOTED: UNITED KINGDOM - JCDecaux has expanded its Transvision digital signage network with the launch of a second large format screen at London Victoria Station. Victoria Station’s weekly foot traffic is more than 1.7 million providing advertisers with high visibility for ad campaigns. The new screen will be located on the eastern side of the concourse, directly in front of a second experiential zone in the Station, facilitating campaigns that link screens to space, part of the offer from JCDecauxLive, the experiential brand at JCDecaux. The addition will bring JCDecaux’s Transvision network to 23 premium screens in 17 stations in the UK, delivering a powerful communications channel for brands to access the affluent, connected commuter audience.

Digital Signage Network To Reach More Than 40% of UK Population

SEEN & NOTED: UNITED KINGDOM -  JCDecaux UK has announced the launch of Channel 6, a national digital out-of-home (DOOH) network of 1,400 digital signage screens across the UK. The digital signage network  will be located in major retail and transport hubs enabling brands to deliver advertising campaigns in retail with the ability to target audiences shopping and searching using smartphones.

JCDecaux also unveiled SmartScreen (pictured above), an insight-driven network of 400 digital signage screens at the largest Tesco stores in the UK. SmartScreens are powered by dunnhumby insight, a leading customer science company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tesco PLC, the SmartScreens will enable optimized scheduling based on audience behavior and sales. According to JCDecaux , research shows that the SmartScreen increased sales more than  9% compared with non-digital posters at supermarkets.
